Helping Customers Get The Message

As part of this drive to help all staff understand and act within the law a new series of on-site customer posters have been created.

There are three central ideas to these posters:

  • Gone too far suggests that customers can get to a point where their drinking is no longer tolerable under the law.
  • Poster Poster Poster
  • There are levels of intoxication and there are different responses to the various levels - have a water at one end and time to go home at the other.
  • That's the law says to patrons just that. It is illegal to serve customers who are intoxicated. Underlying this statement is the sentiment that your premise stands by the law and does not tolerate unruly behaviour.

These new posters offer a clear idea of what intoxication means and what rights you as staff have.
